PRESENTATION SYNOPSIS
This presentation will show not only the main clinical characteristics of dry eye, how to make its diagnosis and the main forms of treatment, but mainly the implications of dry eye in the use of contact lenses. The physiopathology of the dry eye in the lens wearer and the possible alternatives for improving the condition and success in fitting will be addressed, in addition to reports from the literature on the subject.
