PRESENTATION SYNOPSIS

Pseudophakic patient with corneal transplant, advanced glaucoma and dry eye due to MGD in both eyes; suffering from corneal decompensation in the right eye with the presence of leukoma, recurrent de-epithelialization and ulcer, with symptoms of severe pain. As a treatment for the recovery of the ocular surface and the present pain, a large diameter scleral lens with an autologous serum reservoir is adapted. The results obtained are excellent, ceasing the pain and producing a more accelerated recovery of the ocular surface.
