The Optics Of Myopia Control In 2020, with Pat Caroline

PRESENTATION SYNOPSIS

Recent research has suggested that axial eye growth in children may be controlled through the manipulation of the optics to the peripheral retina.  This lecture will review the proposed theories as to how myopia control works and the ocular tissues involved in the process. Special emphasis will be directed towards looking at how each individual child responds to a give myopia control therapy and how adjustments may be needed to optimize myopia control and axial eye growth.
