Graduated from the University Institute of Optometry (Caracas-Venezuela) in 1994, since his training he has been inclined towards the subspecialty of contact lenses, he has completed specialized contactology courses, wavefront, ocular surface and low vision patient management. In the last 10 years he has dedicated himself to the management of complex cornea and specially designed contact lenses. In 2017 he joined the team of consultants at Blanchard Laboratories, opening operations of this prestigious company in Latin America and in 2018 he moved to Medellín – Colombia where he began studies for the homologation of the degree at the Antonio Nariño University, culminating in the In the year 2020, in 2019 he began postgraduate studies in the anterior segment and contact lenses at the Santo Tomas University, where he concluded his academic training and is in the thesis presentation stage. He has been a lecturer at the most important congresses in Latin America in countries such as: Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Argentina, Bolivia and Venezuela. It has recently been referenced in Dr. Daddy Fadel’s book Scleral Lens Issues and Complications for his technique for determining scleral toricity in scleral support lenses using Lysamine Green stain.
