Dr. Carrasquillo is Vice President of Clinical and Professional Services at BostonSight and the lead architect behind the design of the BostonSight SCLERAL lens. She is an adjunct clinical professor at the New England College of Optometry, an adjunct clinical professor at the school of optometry, MCPHS University, a member of the Gas Permeable Lens Institute (GPLI) Advisory Board, a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, and Fellow of the Scleral Lens Educational Society (SLS). She has also authored several peer-reviewed publications on Therapeutic Use of Scleral Lenses and Prosthetic Ocular Surface System Replacement (PROSE) and has also authored several patents.
