Milton Ruiz Alves

Graduated in Medicine at the University of São Paulo (1974), completed Medical Residency in Ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine at USP in 1977. He obtained the title of Doctor in Ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine at USP in 1983. Obtained the title of Professor in the Discipline of Ophthalmology, USP Medical School, in 1995. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at FMUSP, responsible for Residency in Ophthalmology at FMUSP since 2009. Coordinator of the Ophthalmology Graduate Program at FMUSP. Vice-Chief of the Medical Research Laboratory Lim 33-Ophthalmology, HCFMUSP. President of the Brazilian Council of Ophthalmology Management 2013-2015. He has experience in the field of Ophthalmology, with an emphasis on Ophthalmology Surgery, acting mainly on the following topics: cornea, refractive surgery, refraction, contact lenses and ocular surface.
